Aicc Secretary and in charge of AP affairs K B Krishna Murthy on Wednesday warned of serious disciplinary action against the leaders who make comments against Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Congress High Command.
Talking to media persons at Assembly premises, he said that the high command would take disciplinary action against those leaders at an appropriate time. Stating that the leaders' infuriating remarks have been damaging the party's image, he advised them to raise their issues in the party forum instead of media. He said that the chief minister could not be held responsible for party's debacle in the by-elections.
Responding to a question, he said that he has not received any proposal for change of Chief Minister in the State. He said that the District Congress Committee president posts would be filled very soon to strengthen the party at the district-level. He reiterated that there was no danger to party and government in the State.
Krishna Murthy said that the Centre would take appropriate decision on Telangana at an appropriate time.
