Errabelli refutes resignation reports

Telugu Desam Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday refuted media reports which claimed that he has submitted resignation from his post following the debacle in the recent by-elections in the Telangana region.

Talking to media persons, Errabelli said that there was no truth in the reports and he had never submitted resignation from his post. He accused the media of launching a malicious campaign against him to tarnish his image.

Earlier in the day reports circulated in media stating that Errabelli Dayakar Rao submitted resignation from his post in protest against the 'defiant' attitude of Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Revanth Reddy and allotment of Rajya Sabha seat to Devender Goud. The reports further claimed that Errabelli tendered resignation from his post owning moral responsibility for party’s debacle in the Telangana region which was later rejected by TDP president N Chandrababau Naidu. 

While denying all the reports, he accused a section of media of not following the basic principles of journalism.
