Gali predicts fall of AP Govt within three months

Telugu Desam Party senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnamma Naidu on Wednesday predicted that the Congress government in the State would collapse in the next three months.

Talking to media persons at Assembly media point, he said that the present Congress government was running on the support of erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party and MIM. However, after the disqualification of 16 rebel Congress MLAs by the Speaker, the TDP leader said that the collapse of Congress government was imminent as any time either PRP or MIM would withdraw support to the government.

Naidu  said that the recent statement made by Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy indicates that large scale migration of Congress leaders would occur in the event of 16 disqualified Jagan group MLAs emerge victorious in the ensuing by-elections.

Responding to the proposal of privatisation of State Road Transport Corporation, he said that the TDP would oppose it in tooth and nail. He said the government wrong policies were making the all State units inefficient and defunct. He also appealed to the government to lift VAT and Motor Vehicle Tax to make the RTC profitable one. Stating that installation of GPS would further burden the debt-ridden RTC, he asked the government to release a White Paper on financial position of RTC.

Stating that Y S Jagan Mohan reddy would not win by-elections with his corruption money, he said that people would teach a fitting lesson to corrupt leaders in the State on the lines of Uttar Pradesh.
