No political motive behind cabinet reshuffle, claims CM

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Tuesday claimed that there was no political motive behind changing portfolios of ministers.

In a media release issued by the Chief Minister's Office, it has been claimed that "a minor reshuffle of portfolios was undertaken purely on administrative grounds, keeping in view the public interest."

"A Section of Media has attributed political overtones to this exercise, which is absolutely baseless, incorrect and there is no truth at all," the release said.

Stating that the entire cabinet has been working as a team, the CMO said that the decision was taken "purely on administrative grounds in the interest of public at large and no political overtones should be ascribed to it."
