Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Congress High Command against AICC spokespersons Renuka Chowdary and Abhishek Singhvi for making provocative statements on the Telangana issue.
After lodging complaint to party's senior leader Janardhan Dwivedi, Madhu Yashki took serious objection over the comments of Renuka Choudhary and described her as a betrayer of Telangana. He said that Renuka Choudhary comments were provocative in nature and intended towards disturbing the law and order situation in the region. He said that Renuka Choudhary made the comments without understanding the ground situation in the region.
It may be mentioned that Renuka Choudhary stated that general strike of employees has no impact and 80 per cent of employees were attending duties in the State capital.
Madhu Yaskhi also submitted a report on the prevailing situation in the Telangana region with 'substantial evidence' to the High Command. He said that Renuka Choudhary made the statements with malafide intention and to divert the attention of High Command. He asked Janardhan Dwivedi to take action against Renuka Choudhary for making provocative comments on Telangana.
Stating that the resignations would not solve the problem, the Congress MP asked the Telangana activists to directly participate in the agitation to achieve statehood. He also appealed to High Command to take a decision on creation of Telangana soon.
