Telugu Desam Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy blamed the N Kiran Kumar Reddy government for its inaction in so far as the deletion of Clause 14 F is concerned.

“In spite of a unanimous resolution having been passed on the Floor of the House in 2010 during the Rosaiah government, the Centre was now opposed to the said deletion of the Clause,” Mr Janardhan Reddy said.

“If the Centre demanded another resolution on the said Clause, it is only because of the inaction of the current government,” he told media persons at the Secretariat.

He also pointed out that the Centre's demand for another resolution was an insult to the state Assembly itself and the sentiments of Telangana people

Due to Clause 14 F, the Telangana candidates are being victimised while others are reaping a good harvest, the Tdp leader said. He pointed out that in 2007, the government notified recruitments of Sub-Inspectors for 72 posts but only 38 locals were selected while 34 posts were filled up by non-locals.

In 2009 also, out of 128 posts, 31 posts were filled up by non-locals, the Tdp leader pointed out.

Mr Janardhan Reddy also questioned the application for the police posts by the non-locals in Hyderabad when they belonged to other regions/zones. The six-point formula was also buried along with GO 610, he said.
