Condemning to the statement of Minor Irrigation Minister T G Venkatesh that he would establish private army to protect the Seemandra people, Telangana Rashtra Samiti Deputy Floor Leader T Harish Rao on Saturday stated that these type statements would create a sense of insecurity among people living in Hyderabad.
Talking to media persons at Assembly Media Point, T Harish Rao said the Minister’s statements would create law and order problem and disturb the situation prevailed in the region.
T Harish Rao said that T G Venkatesh statements is not suitable to his Ministerial position and demanded him to withdraw his remarks immediately, as the Minister’s statements would damage relations between two region people.
He demanded that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy sack the Minister from the Cabinet for issuing such remarks and take disciplinary action against him. And also appealed to the Chief Minister to book a case against him by taking a suo motu petition.
He said the Telangana leaders are opposing those who are obstructing the formation of Telangana state, particularly those who invested the region.
And Telangana people are not enemies, he said that the real enemies for Seemandra region are T G Venkatesh and Vijayawada MP Lagadapathi Rajagopal, who are creating disturbances among people to protect their properties.
