The all-party meeting convened under the aegis of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association on Friday unanimously took a decision to demand the government withdraw GO 177, which prevent employees from participating in strikes and agitations.
At a round-table conference convened at the CLP office on Friday, leaders from Telangana region from various political parties issued an ultimatum to the government to make an announcement regarding the complete withdrawal of GO within seven days.
Political leaders, cutting across party lines, extended their complete support with the employees in this regard.
The meeting decided to take a 10-day bus yatra in all Telangana districts from April 27 to create awareness on the issue among employees.
The meeting also decided to organize a huge convention `Udyoga Garjana’ in the third week of May with all political leaders and employees from the state.
Senior TRS leader Harish Rao, TDP Telangana Forum convener Nagam Janardhan Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, Congress MLC KR Amos and CPI leader Chada Venkata Reddy participated in the meeting.
TNGO president Swamy Goud was also present.
