Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Director Dr A N Safaya on Sunday stated that it may be possible to shift Sri Sathya Sai Baba from the super-specialty hospital to his residence at Prashanti Nilayam in about a fortnight.

According to the Sunday morning medical bulletin released by the SSSIHMS, Dr Safaya said that the Baba is in a stable condition and is responding satisfactorily to the treatment being given to him.

The SSSIHMS director further said that the Baba continues to be on assisted ventilation. “He is also receiving CRRT system of dialysis. His liver functioning is as yet to recover fully,” Dr Safaya stated. The bulletin further said that the Satya Sai Baba’s Blood Pressure is normal, the infection has come down, the bilirubin  levels have increased since the past three days, his pneumonia is under control.

Stating the panel of doctors is constantly watching on Satya Sai Baba, he further added that the panel of doctors constantly monitoring the doctor’s health are satisfied with the progress.

Meanwhile, sources at Prashanti Nilayam say that the news that the godman may be shifted to his residence has been met with euphoria. The sources say that the Trustees of the Satya Sai Trust are getting his residence ready to receive the spiritual leader of millions of people.

“The residence is also being readied with proper medical facilities which may be required for the follow-up medical care and also emergency services,” the sources said. The Godman was admitted to the hospital on March 28 and the medical bulletins released twice a day have been consistently saying that the Satya SaiBaba was showing improvement.
