When asked, Minister of Information and Broadcasting D K Aruna denied that the issue figured in the Cabinet meeting.

Secretariat sources however maintain that the issue figured prominently in the meeting.

The Srikrishna Committee Report was submitted to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram earlier in the day, a day ahead of the deadline set by the Union Government.

The Chief Minister was categorical in also directing the Ministers to take cautious steps and remain vigilant while dealing with Kadapa leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s movements, the sources added. Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy is also believed to have urged his Cabinet colleagues to work for the victory of the party in the state.
