Former Mlc Ha Rahman on Saturday revealed that he has received threatening telephone calls from unidentified persons, warning him not to speak against Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao. Talking to INN, Mr Rahman stated that the calls had originated from three different places. The calls were traced to public telephone booths at Nizamabad, Bodhan and Dichpally of Nizamabad district.
Mr Rahman revealed that the unidentified callers told him not to make statements against the TRS chief and also warned him not to align with Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The callers told Mr Rahman that he would be hacked into pieces if he did not obey the instructions.
The former MLC stated that the callers also told him that they were on the lookout for an opportunity to kill him since the past one day. Mr Rahman told INN that he was not afraid of being killed and he would not be cowed down by such threats. He also declared that he would remain by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy’s side, despite the threat calls. The former MLC later lodged a complaint with Hyderabad Police Commissioner AK Khan over the threat calls.
