Chiru Force to protect PRP chief, family celluloid interests

Die-hard fans of actor-turned-politician and Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi on Tuesday made their decision to protect their idol’s interests by forming a ‘Chiru Force’.

The ‘Chiru Force’ will attempt to counter the growing influence of Telangana protagonists who have been known to disrupt film shooting and ransack theatres screening movies of film personalities who have in favour of an integrated Andhra Pradesh.

The ‘Chiru Force’ will also ‘protect’ the films of Mr Chiranjeevi’s family members, including Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun.

The Force was formed on Tuesday after the presidents of Chiranjeevi Fans Associations of the ten Telangana districts met and discussed its necessity.

The Chiranjeevi Fans Associations’ presidents made no bones about the role of the Chiru Force, by saying that there was no question of any hesitation while protecting the actor-turned-politician and his family’s interests. They said that they could go to any length to do so, even if it means physical confrontations with anyone opposed to the PRP president or his family.

The Chiru Force members claimed that since Mr Chiranjeevi was working day and night to raise their issues and had entered politics on their demand, it was their duty to protect him.
