Delhi HC shocks CM Jagan. Even as entire media attention is concentrated on Chandra Babu Naidu's arrest and the subsequent political developments in the state, AP CM Jagan got a huge shock from the Delhi High Court. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan and his wife, YS Bharati, have recently been served with court notices in connection with a contentious issue.

Previously, the Andhra Pradesh government had issued a Government Order (GO) mandating that Village volunteers and Secretariat staff purchase a newspaper to disseminate information about government schemes. Additionally, the government had directed the allocation of Rs. 200 to each volunteer and Secretariat staff member to support this initiative.

However, Ushodaya Publications raised objections to this move, asserting that it indirectly boosted the circulation of the Sakshi newspaper by distributing it as a complimentary supplement. This matter was escalated to the Supreme Court, which directed that the trial should take place in the Delhi High Court rather than the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Subsequently, the Delhi High Court issued notices to the Chief Minister and his wife through the local Mangalagiri court.

It has been reported that court personnel visited the Chief Minister's camp office to deliver these notices, marking a significant development in this ongoing legal case.
