Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej starrer BRO which was released last Friday (July 28) has opened with very good figures at the boxoffice. The film has crossed Rs 100 crores gross mark and is going decently at the boxoffice. Though Pawan Kalyan is seen throughout the film, it is more like an extended special character with no regular hero tropes. But, the film has been in news for the clash between AP minister Ambati Rambabu and producer TG Vishwa Prasad

Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu made controversial comments on BRO. He held a press meet saying that his image has been tarnished by mocking him with a character named Shyam Babu which resembles him in the film. It would be another issue of he had stopped there mentioning his displeasure over imitating him in the film.

Ambati Rambabu claimed the BRO is a failure, infact he used the word disaster after its first weekend while the film is registering good numbers. He further asked that what is the remuneration the producer gave to Pawan Kalyan and how did the money pooled for making the film claiming that the producer has transferred NRI funds from US.

For all these allegations, Producer TG Vishwa Prasad gave a strong retort that These financial allegations by the minister are baseless. He said that he is not answerable to anyone but will show the figures in his IT returns. Vishwa Prasad's calm but effective reply has been praised. He said that the financials are strictly between Zee studios and their team. He also said that Syam Babu’s role has no resemblance to Rambabu.

Vishwa Prasad showed guts by saying that Minister's allegations are unwarranted and he can take him down for his loose talk. He also said that he has a very strong legal team and he can fight legally with anyone of it comes to that point. Vishwa Prasad's stern reply has been point of discussion in industry circles too.
