Akshay Kumar's Oh My God 2 has been making headlines as it has received A certificate from censor. This is the second part to his superhit film Oh My God (2012) costarring Paresh Rawal which is based on a Gujarati play. It was remade in Telugu as Gopala Gopala with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh.

Apart from certifying the film with Adult certificate, Censor board also demanded 20 cuts from the film. It also asked director Amit Rai, to change Akshay Kumar's character from Lord Shiva to his messenger. As a result now the makers are forced to delete the scenes which showed Akshay Kumar as lord Shiva or change them.
