First Look Of Inspiring Tale Ghoomer Released

R. Balki who is known for making films with unconventional scripts like Cheeni Kum, Paa, Shamitabh, and recently CHUP is now coming with yet another interesting film titled Ghoomer. Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher are seen in the lead roles. The makers dropped the official first look poster of the film while announcing the theatrical release date of the film.

'Ghoomer' portrays the inspiring tale of a paraplegic sportsperson, played by Saiyami, who excels as a cricketer under the guidance of her coach, played by Abhishek. Saiyami was trained by left-arm spinner Murali Kartik for the film.

Abhishek Bachchan took to his social media handle to share intriguing posters of his and Saiyami's look in the film. "Lefty hai? Left hi hai," read the caption along with the news posters, a word play on the physically challenged character played by Saiyami. 

The trailer of the film will be out in three days, on 3rd August. 'Ghoomer' will have its world premiere on August 12 at Hoyts, Docklands at the  Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2023 (IFFM). The film will be released in theatres on August 18.
