Magadheera: The Turning Point Of Telugu Cinema

When SS Rajamouli announced that his next is with Ram Charan, a single film old hero, a mega heir. Expectations skyrocketed as Rajamouli is already the most sought-after director with success after success in his career. In addition to this Geetha Arts came forward to bankroll the film with the highest budget ever for a Telugu Cinema.

Rajamouli revealed the story on the launching day itself that Magadheera is a reincarnation love story.  All these factors hyped the project and the audience have already decided that they are going to witness an epic. The film hit the screens on July 29, 2009. And it took the Telugu states by storm. 

The film is beyond the expectations of audiences and Rajamouli has presented Ram Charan as a perfect warrior and unleashed something Tollywood hasn't even prepared for. The film became Industry Hit crossing the previous industry Hit Pokiri by almost double margin. 

This SS Rajamouli directorial has Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role opposite Ram Charan. MM Keeravani's music became chartbuster. Magadheera gave confidence to Rajamouli to make lavish films. He then made Baahubali 1&2, RRR. The film has completed 14 years of it's release.
