Cult Lovestory, 7G Brundavana Colony was a rage when it was released in Telugu. The original Tamil film 7G Rainbow Colony is directed by Selvaraghavan and it attained cult status in both languages Tamil and Telugu. Ravi Krishna son of Popular Producer AM Rathnam introduced with this film as an actor. Now, after 18 years, Sequel to the film is getting ready.

7G Rainbow Colony / 7G Brundavana Colony touched millions of viewers with its realistic depiction of love, its soulful music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is all set to have a sequel. The film’s director Selvaraghavan has confirmed that he is working on ‘7G Rainbow Colony 2’.

The sequel will feature Ravi Krishna reprising his role, the aimless youth who falls head over heels for Anita, Soniya Agarwal, his new neighbour from a well-to-do family. The sequel will explore the aftermath of Anita’s tragic demise in a car accident, and how Ravi copes with his grief and guilt.

The buzz is that Selvaraghavan is in talks with several young actresses to play the new love interest of Ravi. Among the names that are doing the rounds are Aditi Shankar, Ivana, and a few others. The film will also have Yuvan Shankar Raja returning as the music composer. The film will be produced by A.M. Rathnam under his banner Sri Surya Movies. The shooting of the film is said to begin in August last week.
