Vamshi Paidipally: Stylish Commercial Director

Director Vamshi Paidipally is known for presenting action films stylishly as well as making emotionally charged films. Though he got introduced as an action film director, he quickly switched to making wholesome mass and family commercial films. Later on he became more matured as director dealing emotional films without missing commercial ingredients.

Vamshi Paidipally worked as software engineer after his studies, entered film industry to pursue his passion. He worked as assistant for films like Eeshwar and Bhadra . He made his directorial debut in Dil Raju production and he made most of the films in his career in the same banner. His first film as a director is Munna starring Prabhas. He earned recognition as a director who handles action sequences stylishly. 

Then he made Brundavanam with NTR as a family commercial entertainer. The film became superhit. Then he made Yevadu with Ram Charan and Allu Arjun in a special appearance. The film also scored commercial success. After Yevadu, Vamshi surprised everyone with Oopiri which is inspired from French film The Intouchables. Oopiri which was made as a Tamil and Telugu bilingual stars Nagarjuna and Karthi in lead roles. The film became a hit and introduced Vamshi as matured filmmaker.

His next is with Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi. The film became a runaway hit which deals with agriculture as core point. The film won National Award for best popular film. He made his Tamil entry with Vaarisu / Vaarasudu starring Vijay which was released for pongal became a superhit.
