Fantasy Classic Bhairava Dweepam To Re Release On August 5th

Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Bhairava Dweepam had a special place in his filmography. This folklore adventure film directed by legendary director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao in 1993 created  wonders. At the time of commercial films and family dramas ruling the roos, creating a fantasy world and taking the audience into it is a no mean feat. Now the film is getting re released in 4K format.

Bhairava Dweepam movie released on 14th April 1994. The movie created records at the box-office presenting a lasting cinematic experience to the audience. To bring back this evergreen classic to this generation audience, Claps infotainment is re-releasing the film in upgraded 4K quality on August 5, 2023.

Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna portrayed Vijay, an abandoned prince who grows up in a tribe to become a brave man. He falls in love with the Princess of Karthikeya Kingdom, Roja (Padmavathi) who is being summoned by an evil wizard by magic to an island 'Bhairava Dweepam' to sacrifice her to rule the universe. How Vijay fights the evil and rescues Roja forms the story that had many great twists and turns.

The magical story penned by Raavi Kondala Rao brought onscreen by legendary director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, aided by a brilliant screenplay by himself. Music scored by Madhavapeddi Suresh is another highlight of the movie. B. Venkatarami Reddy produced the film under the banner Chandamama Vijaya Combines. The movie won 9 Nandi Awards along with humongous box-office numbers and audience reception.
