Supreme Court on Adipurush censor certification. Prabhas,Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan's Adipurudh directed by national award winning director Om Raut and based on the Hindu epic Ramayan got immensely trolled and faced brutal backlash from all the right thinking people for hurting the sentiments of the Hindus.

It is known that the Supreme Court has been hearing on how Adipurush got the censor certification in the first place and already the court found fault with the Board for awarding censor certificate and clearing decks for the film's theatrical release. Now, Supreme Court responded on a plea requesting it ton revoke the censor certification of Adipurush.

Justice SK Kaul while declining relief under Article 32 remarked “Everyone is touchy about everything now...tolerance for movies, books are going down,”

The bench, which also comprises Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia, issued notice to parties in the case. The Allahabad high court on June 30 had directed the makers of the movie to appear before it on July 27 and told the central government to form a committee to give its views on the film.
