Kiran Abbavaram is a popular YouTuber when short films were the rage before the entry of OTT. This Btech graduate writes, directs and acts in his short films. One of his short films Sreekaram was later made as a film with Sharwanand. He also worked in networking for two years. But, never moved away from his passion. He keeps writing stories and making short films.
In 2019, he made his onscreen debut with Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. The film earned him recognition and impressed a set of audiences. Due to newcomers and low-key promotions, the film didn't get deserved success. But, later when it was released in OTT during the lockdown period, it became an immense success and Kiran became popular among the viewers.
His next film, SR Kalyanamandapam was written by him and lf has been promoted well its chart-buster album created hype about the film. The film became a box-office success and registers first hit for Kiran Abbavaram. Then he tried a different concept with Sebastian where he played a cop suffering from night blindness. Though Kiran won accolades the film tanked at the box office.
His next, Sammathame is an urbane love story and resulted in decent success. He faced another setback with Nenu Meeku Baga Kavalsinavadini which is produced by Kodi Divya daughter of veteran director late Kodi Ramakrishna. Then he scored a decent success with Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnukatha which is from the prestigious Geetha Arts. Again he faced failure with Meter produced by the Popular production house Mythri Movie Makers. Now he is coming as Rules Ranjan in veteran producer AM Rathnam's production.
