Rrr, the global blockbuster directed by SS Rajamouli with NTR and Ram Charan as head actors has started it's journey as a Pan India film and grew as a global phenomenon and ends with winning an Oscar. But, that's not it. The film which was released at Japan in Telugu language with Japanese subtitles has created record as highest collected indian film at Japanese box office.
The sensational run of Rrr is not done it. The film has already crossed Rs 140 Crs and is still running. Now the film is all set to release in Japanese language itself on 28th July. Rrr released in Japan in October last year and has broken every single record for an Indian release, both in terms of footfalls and collections.
The film has completed 250 days theatrical run at Japan. This is unimaginable feat for Indian films. Rajamouli, NTR and Ram Charan personally visited Japan for pre release promotions. This has helped the film gaining attention and the film winning an Oscar has changed it's fortunes at the Japanese BO.
Now with Japan collections, Rrr has taken its total gross to 1300+ Crs and emerged as third Indian film which has breached that Mark after Dangal and Baahubali 2.
