✴️Why the title Bhaag Saale? Did you try to get mileage of the Businessman track or is it apt for the title?

- The title is apt for the story. If you see the trailer, you can realize that the title is apt. It shows how the hero runs in his life. It is a crime comedy and the trailer had Siddhu Jonnalagadda's voiceover in the animation and the trailer also got a good response. The film is releasing on 7 July 2023.

✴️How did the project shape up and how did you approach Sri Simha?

- Pranith Bramandapally did Muddapappu Avakai and Suryakantham web series. He penned the story keeping Sri Simha in mind as Kala Bhairava and Pranith are good friends and classmates. When they approached me, as I found that they had good bonhomie, I did not ask any questions.

✴️With what confidence you are casting Simha and entering into the competition?

- Competition is there every week. As makers are coming up with more films in Tollywood, competition is heavy. We are having confidence in the script. We are not coming up with a film on serious content and getting scared. We selected a hilarious genre so that people can enjoy and laugh it out while watching it on the screen.

✴️What is your confidence in the output? How did you feel after seeing the first copy?

- Pranith gave a very good content and the first copy exceeded our expectations. When we watch the film screening internally, we can find know our reactions easily and viewers will enjoy and love the scenes. We are happy and confident about the content.

✴️Why did you prefer theatrical release and what's your level of confidence?

- It all boils down to content. People want entertainment and it is necessary we cater to them as they want to break from their monotonous life. If we do it perfectly, people will watch. There is no point blaming them if we do not come up with the proper output. There is tremendous scope if we do well and this was proven by Samajavaragamana. Vishnu promoted well and nowadays, mouth talk and reviews are very important.

Cinejosh wishes Bhaag Saale makers all the best ahead of its release and a blast at the box office.

Bhaag Saale director Pranith Brahmandapally: Bhaag Saale is an entertaining crime comedy.

Sri Simha Koduri and Neha Solanki's Bhaag Saale is releasing on 7 July 2023. The film's songs, teaser, and trailer got a good response and director Pranith Brahmandapally shared all about Bhaag Saale.

✴️Is Bhaag Saale's title inspired by Businessman?

- That is one of the reasons. We also thought that a catchy title will reach the viewers and connect chords with them quickly and easily. If you see, my first film title Suryakantam was named because of that. Even though the characterization was crazy, since Suryakantam was extremely famous, we felt that it would be an advantage to the movie.

✴️Why did you give political touch? To please CM KCR and Telangana people?

- There is no political touch. A character name in the film is Arjun and he hails from Hyderabad. In Hyderabad, KCR is famous and so the dialogue was delivered in a metaphoric phase. We did not give any political touch. It was just in one scene.

✴️How do you define the Bhaag Saale genre?

- It is a proper out-and-out crime comedy. It is in the genre of RGV's Kshana Kshanam. All the characters will be running in their lives and it is a complete stress buster. It is an out-and-out entertainer.

✴️How did you approach Sri Simha and got the project to materialize?

- Kal Bhairava is my best friend since my college days.

✴️It is Bhairava's recommendation?

- No. No.. I know Sri Simha for long. I wrote the story without keeping anyone in mind. As Bhairava is my friend, I went to Mathu Vadhalara Preview. During that time, I was impressed with Sri Simha's acting and performance. I thought a Hyderabad local, an underdog, and thus Sri Simha aptly fits the bill. Sri Simha already signed projects like Tellavarite Guruvaram etc. I narrated the story and he loved it and the project took off.

✴️Why did you have three heroines? To make them expose and attract viewers?

- No. No. Each and every character has its importance to the story and is interwoven. All the characters and roles have a motive and so to entertain viewers we roped them in. There is nothing like exposing. Nandini Rai did Nalini role. She is a serial actor and I thought she is apt for the glamorous role.

✴️Did the script demand or the director demand three heroines

- Only script demanded. The story happened with the evolution of characters. There are a lot of male characters, Satya, Viva Harsha, Sudarshan, Prithvi, Rajiv Kanakala, and RJ.Hemanth. The entire cast is set perfectly.

✴️What is your gut feeling

- I am pretty confident. I am not only nervous but also excited. I just want to see the audience's reaction. The way we worked out the script, I want to see the audience's reaction to each and every dialogue in the theatres.

✴️You could have opted for OTT safely. What made you go for theatrical release

- Viewers will enjoy the entire story if they watch it in theatres. People prefer to watch crime comedies in OTTs but this film has a unique sound from the start till the finish and it will thrill the viewers. Each character has one particular theme when they appear on the screen.

✴️How did Simha do?

- Simha did exceedingly well.

✴️What are the highlights of Bhaag Saale

- Sri Simha and John Vijay and also a few sequences, like two in the first half and two more in the second half. We planned and wrote the high points every 15 and 30 minutes.

✴️What is the duration of the film

- It is 2 hours and 1 minute.

✴️What about the technical crew

- Ramesh Kushender, chief associate for top cinematographer Senthil handled the cinematography. He worked for more than 8 years. He was my main strength in the film. While shooting chase scenes in Hyderabad, it is actually difficult. But he made it lively and realistic. He also ran along with the actors even from the buildings. It was a unique experience as we shot the live scenes in Charminar. He played a major role there. He captured the locations in an aesthetic manner. He presented my vision on the screen. Bhairava is the biggest asset. Bhairava is fantastic and his sound was the highlight in the film. He gave BGM similar to that of Karthikeya 2.

✴️Did you ask Kala Bhairava or he gave that music on his own

- At the starting itself, we discussed a lot. He asked me what output I wanted and I sent a few references. So he gave a good theme even for the ring road.

✴️Before the release, are you tense, nervous, or kick over your output

- I was very nervous at the thought of the film releasing on 7 July as I wanted to see the reactions. We are pretty confident but a little nervous as to the number of shows etc but once people come to theatres they will enjoy.

✴️How do you invite viewers to watch Bhaag Saale in theatres

- It will be a proper stress buster and if you come to theatres we guarantee that you will enjoy 100 percent.

✴️Trailer cut of Bhaag Saale is good and fingers crossed on the theatrical experience

- Definitely, Bhaag Saale will give a blast to movie lovers.

Cinejosh wishes Bhaag Saale makers a blast in the theatres and at the box office.
