How Kriti Sanon transformed as Sita in Adipurush. Kriti Sanon is playing the all-important role of Goddess Sita in Prabhas-Om Raut's Adipurush. Ahead of its release on 16 June 2023, Kriti shared how she transformed herself in the iconic role.

She said "Yeh film se thoda badhkar hai, Kyunki jo kahani hum suna rahe hain woh hum sab ke liye saalon se chali aa rahi hai, saalon se sunte aa rahe hain aur, ispe kabhi koi film bani nahi hai."

She added “Portraying a character that is so revered is an extraordinary privilege that rarely presents itself in an actor's career. I'm truly grateful to Om Raut and Bhushan Kumar for entrusting me with this remarkable role.

She continued “I have poured my heart and soul into Janaki. I had complete faith in the role but while shooting for the movie I started learning more and more about this character. She is very pure, and has a kind soul, a loving heart, and a strong mind. In my poster as well you will see, there is pain, but there is no fear in it. It was a huge emotion for me. We are mere humans, forgive us if we have faltered.”
