Happy Birthday To Complete Actor Mohanlal

Mohanlal who belongs to Malayalam film industry primarily but a popular face accross all south India film industries. His onscreen presence and persona made him a Star Actor. It's very rare to get recognised for acting abilities once attained stardom. Mohan Lal breaks that barrier. On his way of becoming a star he also displayed his acting prowess, and that makes him a Complete Star.

Mohan Lal is a Multi-faceted personality who does producing, singing and now directing apart from acting. He has a prolific career spanning over four decades, during which he has acted in more than 400 films. The Government Of India honoured him with Padma Shri in 2001, and Padma Bhushan in 2019, India's fourth and third highest civilian honours.

Mohanlal made his debut into films with Thiranottam in 1978 but the film got released after 25 years due to censor issues. So, his first film is Manjil Virinja Pookkal which was released in 1980 where he played as antagonist. After establishing himself as a villain and in second lead roles he got a big breakthrough as main lead with Rajavinte Makan in mid 80's. Since then there is no turning back. He acted in other language big films like Iruvar in Tamil, Company directed by Ram Gopal Varma in Hindi and Janatha Garage with NTR in Telugu. He won five National Awards among those two of them are for Best Actor.

Mohan Lal worked in 44 films so far in the direction of his friend Priyadarshan in his career. His Drishyam 1 & 2 became iconic hits and Puli Murugan is still Malayalam's Industry Hit. He has Ram : Part 1 co-starring Trisha in Jeethu Joseph's direction, Malaikottai Vaalibaan in Lijo Jose Pellissery direction and his directorial Barroz in incoming films list.
