Sid Sriram is one of the most popular singers at the moment. He shot to fame quickly with his unique voice. Sid Sriram is a dramatic musician and playback singer who belongs to a Tamil family but was raised in the USA. His musical skills were nurtured by his mother, Latha Sriram, a Carnatic Music teacher. He started learning Carnatic music when he was 3 years old. Later he graduated from Berklee College of Music and moved to India to give concerts in dramatic music.

Sid Sriram's career was turned by legendary AR Rahman. He gave him a chance to sing in his music direction for Mani Ratnam's Kadal / Kadali. But, he shot to fame with Shankar's directorial 'I'. His song Ennodu Nee Irundhaal / Nuvvunte Naa Jathagaa composed by AR Rahman became an instant chartbuster and became an overnight sensation.
