GV Prakash To Score Music For SK21

Sivakarthikeyan is probably the only star who rose to can't within a short period in Kollywood. He also earned recognition in Telugu with his dubbed films Doctor and Don. He even released his last film Prince simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. It is known that Kamal Haasan is producing a period film with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. The film is to be directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy which has been tentatively titled SK21.

The shooting of SK 21 has been planned to commence soon, and the makers have been building the team. Anirudh Ravichander was supposed to score music for this film, but due to his prior commitments, the makers roped in another popular composer Gv Prakash. It will be Gv Prakash's first film with Sivakarthikeyan. 

Director Rajkumar Periyasamy has gone to Kashmir for a location hunt with his team. Sai Pallavi has been already roped in to play the female lead. Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, has collaborated with Sony Pictures Films India for the project. #SK21 is speculated to be a project where Sivakarthikeyan is set to play the role of an Army man.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan who is on a social media break, is awaiting two releases this year, Ayalaan and Maaveeran. While the first film, is expected to be science fiction, it is said to be heavy on visual effects. The film will hit the theatres for Diwali and is directed by Ravikumar. On the other hand, Maaveeran is helmed by Madonne Ashwin and will release on August 11.
