Balagam marketing strategy lands in controversy

Venu Yeldandi's Balagam turned out to be a runaway hit connecting chords with movie lovers cutting across all sections. People are showing interest in watching the film in theatres and now in order to capture the attention of all, the makers of Balagam decided to screen the film in villages for the public for free.

The free screening happened in and around the villages of Karimnagar, Kasaram, Upparamallial, Venkatraopet, Jaggasagar, Metpalli Mandal, Medak, Siddipet, and Sangareddy districts. But this resulted in huge controversy as some persons complained against the public screening.

Venu Yeldandi shared “It is lucky enough to see the videos sent by the audience in public spaces and visiting multiplexes”,  But Dil Raju production house complained that the illegal screening is impacting the collections of the film in the theaters.

However when contacted Dil Raju Production House denied saying "Let the people enjoy the movie, which shows strong bonds of families in Telangana,”
