Madhuri Dixit s mother passes away

Madhuri Dixit suffered a personal loss when her mother Snehlata Dixit passed away at the age of 90. Her mother passed away today morning and her final rites will be performed. Madhuri Dixit shared the sad news and posted, "Our beloved Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones." Even her husband Shiram Nene shared the sad news along with Madhuri Dixit.

Last month, Shriram Nene paid tributes to his mother-in-law saying “My 90-year-old mother-in-law paints. She has macular degeneration and can’t see too well. But what comes out of her mind is remarkable. She is the loveliest, most positive person in the world. We had her paintings placed on mugs to remind us of her talent."Madhuri Dixit is the youngest daughter of four siblings.

Madhuri Dixtit during her mom's 90th birthday posted "Happy Birthday, Aai! They say a mother is a daughter’s befriend. They couldn’t be any more right. From everything that you’ve done for me, the lessons that you’ve taught have been the biggest gift for me from you. I wish you only good health & happiness (sic)."

Snehlata passed away peacefully at their residence in Mumbai surrounded by her loved ones. Further, the cremation of the actress's mother is reportedly scheduled to be held on March 13, at a crematorium in Worli.
