Vijay Sethupathi takes on Bollywood

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is known for his versatile roles and breathtaking performances. He is set to take the entire Bollywood by storm. He is starring in films like Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, Katrina Kaif's Merry Christmas, Shahid Kapoor's Farzi.

He then turned serious on Bollywood and took them head on saying “When I get a Hindi project, I have to tell (people) that I’m working with Shahid or that I’m the villain for Shah Rukh Khan (Jawan), working with Katrina Kaif (Merry Christmas), then only I’m taken seriously,”. He said only then did North people take him seriously.

He added “I don’t know how to call it a debut as I don’t see it as a debut. I did my first film in 2010. It’s been twelve years since I debuted as a hero. I’ve done about 55 films. Every time I do a film, I am like a kid. Be it short form or long form, we are putting the same kind of effort in each and every shot to make the audience interested. I was trying to impress my girlfriend when I was in training school. I was trying to impress the girl whom I loved with every shot I did.”
