Karthi Japan gives Pongal treat

Karthi is known for different genre of entertainers. His film Japan directed by Raja Murugan is capturing the imagination of all. The film's first look generated immense interest among movie lovers and the makers on Pongal thrilled all by releasing a new and intense poster of Karthi.

Karthi sported a different look and red color attire and long hair. He looked rugged, rough and tough sporting a serious look. This is triggering speculation that Karthi would be playing a negative role. The film stars Anu Emmanuel as the female lead.

GV. Prakash Kumar is tuning the music. Cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman. The film happens to be Karthi's milestone 25th project and is bankrolled on Dream Warrior Pictures. Karthi earlier showed his acting prowess in Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan and his spy thriller Sardar. Ponniyin Selvan II will be relasing on 28 April 2023.
