Kalyanam Kamaneeyam : Technicians Review

Kalyanam Kamayeenam story written by Anil Kumar Alla is all about youngsters in love and how they dealt with them showing trust in each other under difficult situations. Anil Kumar Alla did not deviate from the core point in the name of unnecessary comedy and romance and maintained the same tempo throughout the narration. Though the story is nothing new, Anil Kumar Alla ensured that he narrated in a precise and concise way without irritating and testing the patience of the viewers. In the first half, he established the characters and then showed the happy moments in the lives of Shruti and Shiva and entered into their differences just ahead of the interval bang. He concentrated on the entire second half, how the duo dealt with the problems and differences that crept into their marriage life.

For all the crisp narration, he rushed through the climax with the heroine realizing her misconception within minutes and the couple ending their ego clashes within no time. The story is bereft of no real interesting developments and high conflict points. Anil Kumar Alla's screenplay and direction are just average and did not take any risk. He played it safe by conveniently ending the film by showing the solution to the problem in a simple way.

Shravan Bharadwaj's songs are situational and melodious. They are in sync with the narration. His background music carried the film along with the story in a smooth manner. Satya. G's editing is good and neat and he ensured that there are no lags for most of the film. The cinematography of Karthik Ghattamaneni is beautiful and attractive. He used the camera angles to perfection to give a nice feel to the story. Dialogues are good and impactful. UV Concepts' production values are good.
