Happy Birthday To Genius Filmmaker Sukumar

Sukumar Bandreddi who was a lecturer by profession is now the director of India's one of the much awaited films. Sukumar is known for his unique characterisations of his lead actors. Most of his heroes are with controdictory in nature but Sukumar does magic with his logic to make everyone cheer for them. This is where he stands different from his contemporary directors and make everyone calls him fondly a genius filmmaker. With Rangasthalam and Pushpa The Rise Part 1, wider audiece especially other than Tollywood came to know about Sukumar's calibre as a director.

Sukumar started as a assistant director in his initial days and turned as a Writer and Director with Arya starring Allu Arjun in Dil Raju's production in 2004. With his first film itself, Sukumar made everyone aware about his arrival as a peculiar storyteller. His next Jagadam and Arya 2  became cult films and earned him fan following. With 100 % Love he scored a blockbuster and directed 1 Nenokkadine with Mahesh Babu. Though the film disappointed at the boxoffice, Sukumar is lauded for making a high standard thriller with many layers to it. He is back to scoring blockbusters with NTR's Nannaku Prematho, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and Allu Arjun's Pushpa 1.

Sukumar also produced and provided stories to films. Kumari 21 F is one such film which became a superhit and Uppena is another film which is produced by him along with Mythri Movies which went on becoming a blockbuster. Another interesting thing about Sukumar's films is music. Right from his first film Arya, Sukumar is working with Devi Sri Prasad for all of his films. The duo always delivered chartbuster albums and top-notch background score. This mastermind filmmaker is currently busy in making Pushpa The Rule.
