Samantha's Shaakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar is generating immense interest among movie lovers. The film is releasing across the world in various languages on 17 February, 2023. The makers today released the film's theatrical trailer today. 

The trailer starts with Shakuntala abandoned as a baby by Vishwamitra and Menaka. She gets raised and a beautiful Shakuntala (Samantha) falls in love with Kind Dushyant (Dev Mohan). The trailer looked beautiful and enchanting and enthralling. Visuals are appealing and background music made an impact. Samantha looked gorgeous and beautiful on screen. 

Director Gunasekhar showed his class with extravagant sets. Allu Arha, daughter of Allu Arjun is making her debut as Prince Bharat while Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Ananya Nagalla, and Kabir Duhan Singh are playing crucial roles.  The film is releasing on  Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages in 2D and 3D formats and based on Kalidas Abhignana Shakuntalam based on Adi Parva from Hindu epic Mahabharata. The trailer surely increased expectations on the film Shaakuntalam.
