His latest webseries Aha Na Pellanta directed by Sanjeev Reddy increased the curiosity as it is titled after a hit film. Shivani Rajashekar is the female lead in the webseries which is streaming on Zee 5 from November 17. Let us find out how Aha Na Pellanta entertained people.

Aha Na Pellanta Web Series-Story Review

Aha Na Pellanta story is all about a youngster facing problems in love and marriage and how he tackles them. Srinu (Raj Tharun) leads a happy life along with his parents No Ball Narayana (Harsha Vardhan) and Susheela (Amani). However, following an insult, he leaves Rajamundry and heads to Hyderabad.

In Hyderabad, he finds out the reason behind the insult and those responsible for it. Why Srinu is insulted, how he is connected to Maha (Shivani Rajasekhar), Mahendra (Posani Krishna Murali), and Sudha (Dipali Sharma) from the rest of Aha Naa Pellanta.

Aha Na Pellanta Web Series-Artists, Technicians Review

Aha Na Pellanta's story selected by director Sanjeev Reddy is routine but Sanjeev Reddy managed to entertain people to the core. One doesn't get a feeling that they are watching a webseries. Though the webseries is 8 episodes, except for a couple of episodes where the pace of the narration slowed, everything looked fine. People get a feeling that they are watching a movie. The romantic comedy elements in the webseries attract viewers completely. Sheik Dawood's screenplay is good and the core story written by Kalyan Raghav Pasapula included a lot of entertaining elements.

Sanjeev Reddy introduced all the characters in a neat manner in the first few episodes and though he drifted a bit in the next few episodes as he tried to elaborate in detail, he bounced back in the final few episodes generating enough fun and entertainment to create a laughing riot. The first episode is quite entertaining and from the second episode, it slips into the webseries mode. A few scenes entertained but the director did not use it properly to generate more fun. Sanjeev Reddy did not pay attention to the lags as it is a webseries and this impacted the flow in the second and third episodes. The entry of Shivani Rajasekhar results in the narration picking up pace and from then on it is an interesting and entertaining journey.

Raj Tarun is at ease in the role tailor-made for him. He showed good expressions and emotions and brought variations appealing to all. The way he showed his feelings as a happy youngster and then suffering heartbreak and then trying to hide things and as a loverboy showed his maturity level in the performance.

Shivani Rajashekar got a different role with a lot of scopes to show her acting talent. She did full justice to her role. This role is completely different from the typical heroine role and she excelled in it bringing out the best output be it the emotions or expressions.

Harsha Vardhan entertained in hilarious scenes. He elevated the scenes with his performance. He even excelled in emotional scenes and carried the film on his shoulder. Aamani performed well in her role. Posani Krishna Murali did his role effortlessly and he is at his usual best. Rajkumar Kasireddy though got limited screen presence in two to three scenes, made an impact with his Godavari slang. Raviteja and Trishul Jituri did well in the roles of Raj Tharun's friends. Dipali Sharma, Kritika Sharma, Bhadram, Raghu Karumanchi, and Thagubotu Ramesh performed their roles accordingly.

Nagesh Bannell & Ashkar Ali's cinematography blended the rural and urban atmosphere quite aptly and gave a rich feel to the viewers. The songs tuned by Judah Sandhy are melodious and situational. Pawan's background score is good and made an impact. Madhu Reddy's editing is quite good except for a couple of dargs in a few episodes. Production values are good.

Aha Na Pellanta title reminds movie lovers of Rajendra Prasad's Aha Naa Pellanta. The moment the makers used the title Aha Naa Pellanta, expectations soared on Raj Tarun and Shivani Rajashekar's webseries Aha Na Pellanta. Director Sanjeev Reddy did not disappoint anyone with his direction. He did a neat job with the story, script, and screenplay provided by Sheik Dawood G. Despite the webseries story treading a predictable line and routine elements creeping in, he ensured that it did not impact the final output. He made it up for that by increasing the entertainment quotient and also got the optimum performances from Raj Tharun, and Shivani Rajasekhar, and they are powered by Harsha Vardhan and Posani Krishna Murali.  Kalyan Raghav Pasapula's dialogues are appealing and attractive. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for Aha Na Pellanta Web Series.
