Aamir Khan Takes Break From Films

Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan created a brand for himself delivering quality films. After blockbusters Dangal in 2016 and Secret Superstar in 2017 (in an extended special role) Aamir faces two back to back disasters in the form of Thugs of Hindostan and Laal Singh Chaddha. In a recent public appearance for an event, Aamir Khan said that he will be taking leave from acting for sometime. He said he is taking a break as an actor for the first time in his career. 

Aamir said he wants to spend time with his family and kids as he feels that he has been continuously working for more than 35 years now. He extended that whenever he was doing a role he is completely occupied with that role and his focus solely lies on it only. He doesn't pay attention to other things at that time. Aamir said,  “I am looking at the next year and a half in which I am not actually working as an actor and I will be working as a producer,”.

It is also being discussed that there are several external factors also pushed Aamir to take this decision. The boycott campaigns and ban calls for his comments in the past along with continuous failures make him to rethink about his strategy. Rumours also suggest that he will be producing films but only reappear onscreen after a thorough retrospection of himself and it might take three to four years to restart his acting career.
