Super Star Krishna strong association with Hyderabad

Super Star Krishna who introduced many innovative technologies to the film industry shares a strong association and sweet memories with Hyderabad. He set up Padmalaya Studios in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad in association with the then AP government in 1983. During Tena Manasulu shooting in 1964, he stayed in Sarathi Studios and learned scooter and car driving.

Krishna, Jamuna's Amayakudu shooting started in Sarathi Studios in 1964 and the makers included the song ' Shalibanda peraina Golonda..'Hyderabadi Bandi Sankar tuned music while Achi Venugopalacharyulu from Kutubullapur penned the lyrics. Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala's Vidhi Vilasam songs were recorded in Hyderabad surprising all.  Hyderabad Film Talent Guild tuned music for the film.

Krishna's Indradhanusu directed by Bapayya was shot in Hyderabad. Krishna introduced Polo game to Telugu movie lovers. Krishna shot for the game riding the horse in the Old Race Course Ground, Secunderabad. 17 houses and polo players participated in the shoot and much to the surprise of all Krishna shot playing the game without the dupe. Devudu Chesina Manushulu plane hijack scene was shot in Begumpet airport, Hyderabad taking permission from the then MP V.Hanumantha Rao. Krishna and ANR's Hema Hemilu was shot in Hyderabad. ANR,Krishna, Satyanarayana song Charminar Kada was shot in the backdrop of Charminar,Metro Cafe,Char Kaman by taking special permission.

Krishna has strong association with the film theatres in RTC X roads, Hyderabad.25 of his films released in Sudarshan 35, 70 MM, Devi 70 MM and around 20 films completed 100 days.
