Rahman on Rajamouli

Rajamouli is hogging the media limelight ever since his magnum opus RRR is casting a magic spell on movie lovers across the world. Rajamouli is currently busy promoting the film RRR so that it could get the Oscar nomination and from there on bring home the most coveted Oscar for the best feature film in the foreign category to India.

In the meantime, double Oscar winner, Mozart of Madras Rahman speaking to scribes, showered praises on Rajamouli. Speaking to scribes, he said "When I saw Magadheera, I knew what this man (Rajamouli) can do, and when Baahubali came out, I was like jaw dropped. It glorified Telugu cinema beautifully."

About pan India craze, Rahman added  “Roja, Bombay, and Dil Se are all pan-Indian films. It’s more about what we can learn from each other,” Rahman scored music for Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. RRR is a fictitious patriotic entertainer starring Ram Charan,NTR,Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris in the lead roles.
