Heroes are bothered about hits, Fans busy drawing comparisons

Remaking a hit film in one language has been going on for many years and many stars scored hits and revived their career in their respective industries by doing the same. While heroes after scoring hits will be happy and celebrate their successes partying, fans always fight drawing comparisons with the original and then indulging in fan wars.

Now the same thing is happening with regard to Chiranjeevi's Godfather. It is known that the film is a remake of Mohan Lal's Lucifer. The makers made subtle changes to elevate Chiranjeevi's heroism and the film is doing good at the box office releasing on Dasara. However, fans of Chiranjeevi and Mohan Lal started fighting on social media. They do not understand that both Mohan Lal and Chiranjeevi share good relations.

Earlier Pawan Kalyan scored a hit with Bheemla Nayak remaking Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Bollywood hero Salman Khan starred in many Tamil and Telugu remakes and revived his career and so too did Ajay Devgn. Vijay's films are being remade by Pawan Kalyan and Vijay starred in Pawan Kalyan's remakes. Venkatesh starred in many remakes and the most recent being Drushyam and Asuran. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Chiranjeevi starred in many remakes and everyone knows that Rajinikanth's Chandramukhi is the remake of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. Only a few stars stayed away from remakes. There is nothing wrong with remakes but at times, they bring expected results and when things go wrong, they face huge criticism.

So fans should take a chill pill and enjoy the success of each star and if a remake betters the original, then they should compliment them and if they tweak some things, they should ignore keeping in view the sensitivities of the particular region. Everyone knows that the tastes of people and regions differ on various counts.
