Khaki Colors: Stars shined, Youngsters paled

Any actor dream of getting a mass following by doing high-octane mass action entertainers. Among the high-octane mass stories, actors dream of donning khaki colors and showing their power as powerful police officers and cops. However not all those actors who donned khaki colors tasted success and endeared themselves to the masses. 

If we take Tollywood itself, top stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, and Rajasekhar donned khaki colors and scored blockbusters. The same is the case with young superstars like Mahesh Babu, NTR, Ram Charan,Allu Arjun, etc. However the same did not turn true with the medium-range heroes. 

Whenever medium-range heroes tried to reach the next level of stardom doing cop roles, they got huge shocks. Ram, Kiran Abbavaram, Aadi Sai Kumar, Sharwanand, Sai Dharam Tej, Sudhir Babu, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, and more recently Sree Vishnu got disastrous results. Ram's The Warriorr, Kiran Abbavaram's Sebastian PC524, Aadi Sai Kumar's Tees Maar Khan, Sharwanand's Radha, Sai Dharam Tej's Nakshatram, Sai Srinivas' Kavacham, Sudheer Babu's V and recently Sree Vishnu's Alluri failed to make any impact at the box office. 

This proved that the masses will not accept anyone doing mass action entertainers and cop roles and young heroes should do the role suited to their physique and not try to sweat it out in the gym and transform their physique in an odd manner. They should take a cue from young heroes Nani, Nithin, Nikhil, Naga Shourya, and Varun Tej who are doing roles suited to their image and physique.
