Chiranjeevi's Godfather completed the censor formalities yesterday. The film completed censor and got a U/A certificate from the board. The film is set for an extravagant release on October 5 as a Dasara special. In the meantime, the inside happenings of the runtime is coming out. Sources reveal that the film's runtime came to around 3 hours but Chiranjeevi felt that the runtime is too lengthy and decided to trim the film by around 20 minutes.
Many feel, Chiranjeevi has taken a prudent decision as the lengthy runtime ends up testing the patience of the viewers unnecessarily. Inside talk is the makers are yet to complete the patchwork of the scenes involving Chiranjeevi, Salman Khan, Satyadev, and others and those scenes would be shot in Mumbai.
The film is directed by Mohan Raja and features Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in a powerful cameo. Music for the film is scored by Thaman and Nayanthara, Puri Jagannath, Gangavva,Sunil, Gaddar are playing important roles.
