Hit: The First Case is the official version of the same-titled 2020 Telugu crime thriller starring Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma. Sailesh Kolanu, who also oversaw the Telugu version of the movie, is in charge of the Hindi version. The Hindi version stars Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles.

According to closed sources, for producers of the film it was a success, with significant profits going into their pockets. According to trade sources, the makers spent 37 crores to produce, including publicity and promotion. And the film was released only by the producers.
As per trade reports, with non-theatrical earnings of around 36.5-37.5crores, the film nearly recovered its budget. The film earned around 12.75 crores at the box office. Profits ranged between 5.5 and 6 crores for the producers. And the producers are pleased with the result.
The film recently debuted on Netflix and is currently trending at number one, impressing the OTT audience. Overall, Hit The First Case was a successful project.
The Hindi remake of Hit has been produced by T-Series Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore.
