TS government to screen Gandhi

The people of India are celebrating the completion of 75 years of Independence on August 15 this year. Already the Union Government headed by PM Modi's BJP along with the NDA has been organizing various events in the name of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. PM Modi already gave a call to the people of the country to unfurl the tricolor on the occasion and Telangana Government headed by CM KCR announced that his government will distribute the tricolor to each and every house across the country. 

In the meantime, Telangana Government decided to pay tributes by screening the Oscar-winning film, Gandhi. TS government issued an order directing the multiplexes to screen Gandhi's film from August  9-11 and 16-21. The government has issued an order to show Gandhi’s film from 10 am to 1.15 pm.

Gandhi was directed by Richard Attenborough and starred Ben Kingsley in the lead role. The film won 8 Oscar Awards after getting 11 nominations.
