The 68th National Awards are announced a few minutes back and Versatile actor Suriya and his film Sooraripottru directed by Sudha Kongara won many awards. Suriya won the best actor award and he shared it along with Ajay Devan for his patriotic entertainer Tanhaji. 

From Tollywood, Thaman won the best music director award for his tunes in Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapuramlo, while Suhas, Chandhini Chowdhary's Color Photo won the best feature film award for Telugu at the national level. Sandhya Raju's Natyam won the best choreography award.
