Entire Tollywood, especially top stars, filmmakers, and banners heaved a sigh of relief when the cine workers called off their strike which they started today, and decided to resume shootings. It is known that the Cine Workers from the 24 crafts went to strike demanding revise in pay which came to a standstill for the last four years. Film Union had been demanding a hike in the salaries of cleaners, production boys, drivers, lightmen, fighters, and dancers. 

Producers Council and the Fim Union leaders met and resolved the matter amicably with Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stepping in to address the problem.

The strike called by cine workers demanding a hike in wages has been fruitful. With the bigwigs of the Film Chamber agreeing to the demands of the cine workers in principle, the issue has a positive ending. A coordination committee was formed with Dil Raju heading the organization as the president with Federation leaders in it. they are expected to make an announcement tomorrow regarding the revision of pay. This brought a sigh of relief as many top-stars films shootings came to a standstill.
