Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming entertainer under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally is progressing at a brisk pace. The makers are roping in senior stars for important roles. According to the latest, the makers roped in Family Hero Srikanth for an important role in the film. Welcoming Srikanth on board, the makers posted"Extremely delighted to welcome @actorsrikanth sir onboard for #Thalapathy66."

The other day the makers roped in Sarath Kumar for an important role. Rumors have it that Sarath Kumar will be playing the role of Vijay's father. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead in the film for which Thaman is the music director. Vamsi Paidipally is ken to show Vijay in a completely different avatar and people are getting excited about the film's genre.

The film is made in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages. Plans are on to release the film either by Sankranti 2023.
