Artists, Technicians Review
Vimal Krishna along with Siddhu Jonnalagada readied DJ Tillu story. The story is just routine and turned out to be weak and the plot turned out to be wafer-thin. But Vimal Krishna with the interesting narration highlighting the character of DJ Tillu entertained movie lovers throughout the first half with fun-filled moments. The first half ended on an entertaining note though there are drags and repetitive scenes here and there. Expectations increased over the second half but here the director flattered to deceive. The second half went for a toss with uninteresting and illogical scenes and finally, the story ended in a rushed manner. Vimal Krishna managed to entertain viewers to some extent with his screenplay and direction. Had the story been strong enough, the result would have been even better.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda slipped into the role effortlessly. In fact, he lived in the role of DJ Tillu and captured the imagination of all with his style, mannerisms, expressions, and emotions. He impressed and made an impact with his dialogue delivery. His chemistry with Neha Shetty entertained movie lovers.
Neha Shetty oozed with glamor and entertained at the start of the film. She performed well showcasing her expressions accordingly and in an innocent and believable manner. However much to the disappointment of the movie lovers she got limited screen presence in the second half. Brahmaji performed well as a cop. Kireeti Damaraju got a limited screen presence. Prince Cecil is ok but went overboard and irritated viewers with his performance. Narra Seenu is ok in his role.
Sricharan Pakala and Ram Miriyala provided entertaining and foot-tapping songs and mass beats for the film. The songs became an instant hit even before the film's release and are well shot on screen. Thaman elevated the scenes with his thumping background music. However, at times, BGM turned out to be loud. The editing of Naveen Nooli could have been better especially in the second half as there are many drags that slowed the pace of the film. Dialogues are entertaining and fun-filled while dance choreography is good. Production values are good.

Rating Analysis
Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vimal Krishna turned DJ Tillu into an entertaining one. Right from the start till the finish, they tried to take DJ Tillu on a fun-filled tide. Though DJ Tillu entertained with his style, mannerisms, and dialogue delivery, the weak script played the spoilsport. DJ Tillu flew high but came down with a thud with his bubble getting busted in the middle. Considering the slip in the narration, screenplay, and direction, CJ goes with a 2.5 rating for DJ Tillu.
