Where ever we see these days in Indian film industry, the only talk is all bout ‘Raavan’ from Maniratnam. His team has left for London from Mumbai, today afternoon to attend the world premiere tomorrow night at BFI, Southbank which will be a red carpet affair with stars like Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
Meanwhile in India, Madras Talkies has come out with a press note that says- ‘The long wait is finally getting over. Come Friday, Raavan is all set to sweep the feet of movie buffs across the globe. Produced by Madras Talkies in association with Reliance Big Pictures the craze and excitement for Mani Ratnam's magnum opus is getting bigger and bigger. Raavanan will be releasing on June 18 in Tamil Nadu, with a total of 220 prints and overseas 125 prints. In Andhra Pradesh, 125 prints of Villain beside 25 prints for overseas.’
Hindi version would be released with 500 prints across the country besides 305 for overseas. In total 1280 prints of Raavan in different languages are set to storm cinema halls on June 18. This week it is going to be ‘Raavan’ craze all over India.
