Sai Pallavi increases expectations on Shyam Singha Roy

Nani's upcoming thriller Shyam Singha Roy is racing for a grand release on December 24. The makers are promoting the film in a never seen before manner. Sai Pallavi speaking to scribes increased expectations on the film. She showered praises on Nani and director Rahul Sankartiyan.

Sai Pallavi praising Nani said while in MCA she did not interact with Nani much as she did not have many scenes, for Shyam Singha Roy, both of them interacted well and that chemistry came out quite well on screen. She said she doesn't know classical dance but director Rahul Sankartiyan believed that she could pull off and said his confidence helped her perform well.

Speaking more about Pranavalaya song, she said  "Love Story is my dance film, I can say. I do not know the classical dance. Rahul believed I could do it. Those who did classical dance in the song along with me were the ones with the most experience. I was so scared while dancing to that song. I am happy that people are saying I did on par with them,"

About her role, she said "While reading the script of Shyam Singha Roy, I liked the fact that it is more about the psychology of Devdasis instead of saying how to do the character. I did this movie in terms of psychology compared to other movies,"  and elaborated "I have read in school about the Devadasi system. Devadasis were initially servants of God. It was later changed. We did not show them completely, we just took as much as we wanted for our movie. This is not a film made entirely on the Devadasi system. I'm ready to do a complete movie about them,"

The film stars Madonna Sebastian, Kriti Shetty as other female leads and features Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatam, Jishu Sen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Wadwa, Barun Chanda in important roles.
